With over 17 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and security, Shabbir Hussain Shaikh is a senior network security professional who has worked extensively across banking, data centers, government, railways, and large enterprise environments.
He has led and executed complex infrastructure projects for organizations such as Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBI General Insurance, Central & Western Railways, and multiple large enterprises—often in high-availability, audit-driven, and mission-critical setups.
What Sets His Experience Apart
- Led Aruba ClearPass NAC implementations in large banking environments, including 802.1X, MAC authentication, posture assessment, profiling, TACACS+, RADIUS, and enforcement policy design
- Designed and supported DC & DR network infrastructures with strict compliance and audit requirements (including RBI audits)
- Worked directly with HPE Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, Juniper, Extreme Networks, and Avaya platforms
- Hands-on leadership in L2/L3 escalation handling, migration planning, PoCs, and live production cutovers
